Privacy Policy
How Leads Connect collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us.
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Introduction
Leads Connect ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and the choices available to you.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:
- Account details such as your name, phone number, email address and password.
- Profile and payout details you provide when you verify your account or add a bank account.
- Transaction information such as airtime, data, bill payments, wallet credits, bonuses and withdrawals.
- Technical information such as your device type, browser, IP address and the pages you visit.
When you first set up an account, we may send your name and a non-verified referrer’s display name to OpenRouter for an AI-assisted check for obvious random text. We compare normalized email hashes to detect Gmail aliases; accounts with plus-tagged Gmail addresses, accounts sharing their Gmail identity, and other plus-tagged Gmail accounts referred by the same person may be banned at email verification. We may block future registration bonuses to associated referrers and review sales withdrawals when multiple account-reuse signals appear together. We also record successful sign-ins and member-page visits, use a first-party account cookie for repeat-account checks, and keep keyed hashes of saved bank accounts to identify reuse within or across referral groups. Those sign-in, cookie and bank-account signals are used for risk review and do not automatically restrict an account; verified promoters are skipped during referrer-name checks.
3. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- create and manage your account and wallet;
- process transactions, bonuses and withdrawals;
- verify your identity and prevent fraud or abuse;
- personalise your experience and improve the platform;
- send service updates, security alerts and, where permitted, marketing messages;
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal basis for processing
We process your personal information on the basis of your consent, the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, and compliance with applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:
- service providers who host, support and secure the platform;
- OpenRouter, which processes account and applicable referrer display names for the onboarding name check;
- banks and payment partners that process your withdrawals;
- professional advisers such as auditors and lawyers;
- law enforcement or regulators where we are required to do so.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some features may not work properly without them.
7. Data retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards where we need it for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
8. Security
We use technical and organisational measures, including two-factor authentication and encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please keep your password private and enable two-factor authentication on your account.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information we no longer need;
- object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
10. Children's privacy
